The firm was originally founded in 1969 by John Grant, CA. John successfully ran the practice as a sole practitioner until the firm was acquired by Pallister Cookson Campbell Carr Chartered Accountants in 1984. Bill Campbell, CA, CFP was a partner of this firm and when the firm disbanded in 1989, Bill continued to run the practice in the Stettler and Coronation offices.
In 1996, Guy Chapman, CPA, CA, CFP joined Bill in the partnership and Campbell Chapman Chartered Accountants was formed. After Bill retired in 2009, Guy continued the practice as sole practitioner until 2011 when he invited Chris Annand, CPA, CA, Naomi Roth, CPA, CGA, and Kendra Walgenbach, CPA, CA to form a partnership with him. Guy has recently retired as partner, but he remains an integral part of the firm as an associate.
In the past few years, the firm has experienced an increasing client base and is now comprised of three partners and nine staff members to meet your unique accounting, financial and taxation needs.
MEET OUR TEAM
KENDRA WALGENBACH, CPA, CA
Kendra graduated from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology with her Business Administration Diploma with Honours in 2003 and began her career with the firm immediately thereafter. She then completed her Advanced Certificate in Accounting with Honours in 2006 from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia. She obtained her Chartered Accountant designation in 2009 and became a partner in 2011. Kendra provides financial and taxation advisory services to owner-managed businesses including personal tax and estate planning services. Kendra is also involved in providing assurance services for various businesses, not-for-profit organizations, and municipalities. When she isn’t crunching numbers in the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two young children.
NAOMI ROTH, CPA, CGA
Naomi completed her Business Administration Diploma with Honours from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology in 1996, her Certified General Accountant designation in 1999, and joined the firm in 2006. Naomi became a partner in 2011. With 20 years of experience, Naomi provides financial, taxation and other advisory services to owner-managed businesses primarily in agriculture and oilfield sectors. When Naomi is not at the office, she and her husband are busy with their two children who are actively involved in various sports and activities.
CHRIS ANNAND, CPA, CA
Chris joined the firm as an articling student in 2005 after completing his Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary. He received his Chartered Accountant designation in 2008 and became a partner in 2011. Chris provides financial, taxation and other advisory services to owner-managed businesses. Chris is also involved in providing assurance and support services to not-for-profit organizations and municipalities. Chris loves music and has an eclectic collection of records.
GUY CHAPMAN, CPA, CA, CFP
Guy joined the firm in 1994 after completing his Bachelor of Management from the University of Lethbridge and obtaining his Chartered Accountant designation. Guy became a partner in 1996 and furthered his expertise by obtaining his Certified Financial Planner certification. Guy has recently retired from the partnership, but continues to be an integral part of the firm as an associate. With over 27 years’ experience in accounting, Guy offers a wealth of knowledge. When he’s not in the office, Guy enjoys coaching minor hockey, golfing, travelling, and spending time with family.
After joining the firm in 2008, Terri completed her Diploma in Financial Cost and Tax Accounting in 2009 and her Advanced Certificate in Accounting from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia. She also recently became an AgExpert Analyst Certified Advisor. Terri provides bookkeeping services and support, prepares corporate financial statements, corporate and personal income tax returns, and AgriStability applications. Terri has a love of animals and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
KAMRON KOSSOWAN, CPA
Senior Staff Accountant
Kam joined the firm in 2015 after graduating from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Commerce. Kam obtained his CPA designation early 2018. Kam is involved in the preparation of corporate financial statements and corporate and personal income tax returns. When not in the office or busy studying, Kam enjoys camping, hiking, traveling, playing hockey, soccer and tennis, and spending time with family.
Liane obtained her office administration diploma from SIAST in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan in 1997 and joined the firm in 2012. She provides bookkeeping services for businesses and farms. Liane is also involved in the preparation of corporate financial statements and corporate and personal income tax returns. She and her husband live in Bashaw with their three kids, a cat, a dog, and two guinea pigs. As a family, they enjoy camping and snowmobiling. Their kids’ involvement in football, 4-H, and school keep them busy!
Christine has been with the firm for 21 years. Christine is involved in providing bookkeeping services for numerous clients and in the preparation of personal income tax returns. When she’s not at the office, Christine enjoys felting, knitting, travelling and horseback riding.
Angelle recently moved to Stettler and joined our firm in the fall of 2017. Angelle provides a variety of client services including bookkeeping services for businesses and farms, corporate financial statement preparation and personal income tax preparation. When Angelle is not in the office she enjoys spending time with her husband.
Janelle joined the firm in 2017. Janelle provides bookkeeping services for a variety of businesses and farms. Janelle is also involved in the preparation of corporate financial statements and personal income tax returns. Outside of work, Janelle enjoys spending time with her husband and their three busy boys.
Suzanne joined the firm in 1989. Suzanne provides payroll services to a number of clients and assembles the corporate financial statements and tax returns. In her free time, Suzanne enjoys camping and spending time with family and friends.
Barb has been with us for eight years and completed the Secretarial Science Program at Red Deer College. Barb is the first point of contact for clients and performs a number of administrative duties. She and her husband raised three children in the Stettler area and enjoyed watching and coaching various sports. As an empty nester, she now fills her time with quilting, camping, gardening, travelling, and spending time with her family and friends.
